  1. OK, I appreciate this photograph (a lot) for its abstract composition. But still I wonder how you got the half-tone screen on this. Is it a photo of a print? And what is that bit of color near the bottom? I’ve blown it up to 300 percent and only have a guess that this may be something printed on metal. Do tell.

    • I’m glad you like this, Linda. I haven’t done much in the way of Photoshop experiments in a while but the half-tone screen was applied in PS. The photo of a drainage pipe was used warts and all. That accounts for the imperfections and that bit of color you noticed. My goal was to try to get that printed look on a non-printed photo using the half-tone. I need to do more with this technique as I find it an interesting process. The hardest part is finding a suitable photo that would benefit from the technique.
