I don’t know what say about this photograph other than I like it and that I like looking at it for longer than I usually look at photographs. Maybe it’s a peacefulness I feel.
I pulled over to the side of the road to shoot this after I saw the barn. I had no idea it would come together as well as it did. A fortunate accident.
Very nice 👍 🙂
Thanks, PC.
That’s a pleasant bit of bucolic scenery. Ah, but how many strawberries =one orange worth of vitamin c? Google Meister says 10.
Thanks, Steve. I can’t argue with Google so it must be true.

Thanks, Linda. I found this in one of my lost folders recently. Although it was shot a while back I can remember the day perfectly.
Awesome use of multiple lines drawing the eye to the subject. Well done.

Fortunate indeed . . . four distinct lines drawing the eye to the barn (more if you count each boundary as a line).
I couldn’t have planned all that.
Don’t sell yourself short. After many years of photographing stuff, it probably comes naturally.
I do have a thing for diagonal lines.
Fantastic. Love the lines. Love the colors. Love the mood.
Thanks, Howard. I would have been crushed if I had lost this file.
Lovely, Ken. A sweet ode to rural life.
Thanks, Lynn. I try to get out to this area a few times a year. It’s good for photos and good for the soul.
I bet!
Looks like a scene Andrew Wyeth would have painted.
WOW!!! Thanks, Steve!
Now all you have to do is get a model to lie down in there, à la “Christina’s World” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christina's_World),
That’s probably never gonna happen but thanks anyway.
