Like the ambiguity in this ! I feel if I stood on the edge I’d collapse into the shadow and roll into the sea .. not that I would relish that idea Lol
Great composition and contrast .
Very nice – I especially like that ribbon of smooth water at the interface with the shore. A spot worth revisiting I think. Especially if you can get some golden light on that sand!
Cool. Can’t tell if this is very big or very small. But seeing as you probably don’t have a helicopter, I’m guessing it’s small.
Thanks, Ash. I shot this from an elevated position about 30 feet above the shore. But a helicopter would have been nice, too.
Where is this?
This is the shore of Lake Ontario in Webster (Where Life is Worth Living), New York.
cool… and everyone is fair and relaxed.
Looks high up to me..
It’s about 30-40 feet above ground level.
wow, absolute brilliant contrasts and composition !!! Like that very much!
Thanks, Markus. It’s a surprise to me, as well. The water seldom looks this blue at the lake.
This is really nice. I love the undulating lines and the overall cool tones.
Thanks, Mark. I believe it’s part of a private beach area, which may account for the lack of people.
Very, very nice treatment.
Thanks, E.

Thanks, poppytump. I admit this composition can be deceiving with the high perspective but I couldn’t resist.

Thanks, ehpem. This is a nice spot for photos. I’ll be back.
